Every year, you are required to undergo safety audits to ensure your building is safe and compliant to current safety standards. 

Not only does this provide staff and contractors a safe working environment, it can be a requirement for insurance; and even if it is not a requirement, failure to comply/ensure a safe environment for any person on the property has serious repercussions.

Why Do You Need Safety
​Auditing? 

Simply put, you are required to undergo safety audits to ensure your building is safe and compliant with current safety standards.
Not only does this provide staff and contractors a safe working environment, it can be a requirement for insurance; and even if it is not a requirement, failure to comply/ensure a safe environment for any person on the property has serious repercussions. 

Issue Identification 

Together with our years of experience and exposure, we have developed skills in safety to know where safety measures are needed and where potential issues lie. During our audits this skill is vital as we know where wear and tear happens and common problems arise, and we are always on the lookout for these issues on top of our set work.

Failure To Comply 

As of July 1st 2020, If you fail to comply with safety standards and/or maintaining a safe environment and death occurs you can now be charged with Workplace Manslaughter 

The highest penalty under the WHS Act (Safe Work Australia) is $600,000 or 5 years imprisonment or both for individuals and $3,000,000 for a body corporate.

How Often Do You Need Safety
Auditing 

To maintain a safe working environment and comply with national standards, height safety auditing is required to be undertaken on a yearly basis. If an area is in a high traffic area, it may be beneficial to have an inspection in that area every 6 months to
ensure that there have been no damage, wear or fall arrest measures triggered. 

What We Do

All our audits include new tags and/or identification plates for the required items. Our audits all come with a comprehensive report that includes a list and photos and written description of all identified risks that have been noticed during our inspection, as well as possible solutions to all identified risks.
Reports also include photos of the old and new tags/plates, a log of all tags from old to new and their placement/location.
What makes us different from other companies is that if we also identify an issue, even if that may not be in our purview, we will inform you so that you can address the issue before it becomes a major problem.

For Example: if we’re doing an audit or installation and notice a broken window, leaky air conditioning unit or equivalent issue, where others are only interested in getting their job done, we care enough about our clients that we will inform you about it.
